By the time that a sale makes it’s way through to your inbox, the customer has paid 100% fully definitely and completely for it.
Very extremely the most NB: please make 100000% sure that the bank details you captured in your store profile are 100000% correct. Wrong or mis-typed bank details will result in delay of your payout and a possible bounce / failure charge levied by the bank.
We have never ever not paid out one of our sellers – our business is built on our reputation and working with you and it would be a tragedy for us to tarnish it that way.
The reason we only pay out on Tuesdays after the payment has cleared is firstly because of the payout fee (which is what it costs us to do the payout – we explain on the Sell page) – it would mean that everyone would be charged that fee multiple times instead of only once per week, and that money would be chomping chunks out of our sellers’ profits and feeding them to the bank. And nobody wants to feed that monster.
Most businesses only pay out for sales after four to six weeks, but we pay out weekly because we want to get our sellers their money as quickly as possible. We fundamentally disagree with how many stockists operate regarding payment to small business suppliers and a lot of our systems and processes are built around our beliefs and desire to support small businesses, because we are one ourselves.
So. Rest assured that we have your money and will be paying it to you on the Tuesday after it cleared, to the bank details you set in your store setup. You’ll also get an email from our system when the payout goes through on Tuesday morning.
And if ever there were an issue with payouts we are here to sort it out, but this has never happened yet.
