Where does Hello Pretty market? Where does Hello Pretty’s traffic come from?
The bulk of Hello Pretty’s traffic is through Facebook, and the promotions we run through our Facebook page and our Instagram page. We also have a newsletter with over 30,000 subscribers (as of February 2018). With the exception of Google searches / SEO, this is how we get the majority of our traffic to Hello Pretty. Bear in mind that Hello Pretty markets to a broad audience (jewellery to furniture to things for babies) so your store’s success will largely be driven by your own specifically-targeted marketing efforts.
How many sales does Hello Pretty make?
Number of sales varies substantially from designer to designer, and we don’t publish sales data. Our top designers can do upwards of a few hundred sales a month during peak season if they’re running promotions, with good, targeted social media advertising. Sales are determined by several factors, with some being the product, pricing, photos, store policies, how a designer runs their business and how and where they promote themselves. Keep in mind also that Hello Pretty is a marketplace, not a traditional store. The sales that happen through Hello Pretty are not our sales; they are the sales of the store owners.
